Townscape Commercial Architects obtained planning consent for this spec-built office development in Wetherby and delivered a building regulations package for the main contractor.
The business centre’s brief was to incorporate energy efficiency and eco-friendly design. Therefore we designed sustainable timber exteriors, abundant natural light sources, thermally effective glass and insulation and a naturally-laid car park with electric charging points for electric cars.
Natural light is vital for health and well-being and encourages productivity for a healthy workspace. A factor that we carefully considered in the design positioning of ample natural light office outlets throughout the office and workspace design. 
The office and workspace were designed as converted barn offices, blending in with the rural site and surroundings. The building features sustainable and contemporary serviced offices with an industrial touch, making it a perfect fit for the Hay Barn extension and the overall architectural concept of this office project in the heart of Yorkshire.
