Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of residential projects, from inception through to completion.
  • Engage directly with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Apply your knowledge of conservation principles to develop sensitive and innovative solutions for listed buildings and historic environments.
  • Produce high-quality drawings, models, and detailed specifications.
  • Use ArchiCAD (preferred) for design development and documentation, ensuring that the design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including planning, building regulations, and conservation standards.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in architecture or technology, with a strong portfolio showcasing residential projects.
  • A solid understanding of the UK planning system, building regulations, and conservation principles.
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD is highly preferred. Experience with other BIM software is beneficial.
  • Experience working on listed buildings, conservation areas, and historic sites is a plus.
  • Excellent design, communication, and presentation skills, with a strong client-facing presence.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for sustainable, innovative, and context-sensitive design.
